Safari Lodge rates and booking information to help you plan the perfect stay

Guests will be met at Welgevonden’s East Gate for the transfer to the lodge. All guests are required to sign an indemnity form on arrival.

Exclusive use of the villa with a dedicated service team.
All meals, pastries, snack, soft beverages.
Use of a private safari Land Cruiser, game viewer with accredited field guide at your convenience.
Children are allowed on all Game drives
Bush walks – on prior request (not permitted if under 16 years old).
Health and wellness massage and spa treatments
Complimentary laundry.
Complimentary satellite WiFi.

Maximum 10 guests – Minimum 2 nights stay

Minimum rate per night (4pax)	R60 000
5 – 10 Adults per person per night	R15 000
10 adults per night discounted rate	R120 000
Additional child rate per night (4 – 15 years)	R7 500
Additional infant rate per night (3 years and under)	R1 500

All rates are in South African Rand (ZAR), 15 % VAT included. Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
Children aged 6-15 receive a special rate reduction of 50% of the adult nightly rate only if the minimum occupancy rate of 4 adults is booked.
Early check-in and / or late check-out by prior arrangement and at no extra cost.
Children under 6 are admitted by prior arrangement (refer to our child policy for terms and conditions).
Price is per person per night.
Conservation Gate Levies at R300 per person per day is not included.
2 nights minimum stay, unless otherwise agreed.
Transfers to and from Welgevonden East Gate is not included.
4 adults guests minimum, unless otherwise agreed.
No pork products.

All cancellations must be sent in written.

Please take not of the below cancellation fees if incurred prior to arrival:

1-30 days: 100%

31-45 days: 50%

46-90 days: 25%

91 days or more: 10%

No reservation may be assumed to be confirmed, amended or cancelled without written confirmation from the Matomo Safari Lodge’s reservation office.

Matomo Safari Lodge will hold provisional booking as follows:

1-30 days before arrival: 24 hours

31-45 days before arrival: 72 hours

46-90 days before arrival: 7 days

91 days or more before arrival: 14 days

Matomo Safari Lodge welcomes children below 6 years of age with a child indemnity form signed by parents or guardians.

The suites can be converted to triple rooms on request prior arrival.
